Description on this site is in polish, but you can try to google it. It's based on ne555 circuit, irf540 transistor, and high voltage transformer from old tv.
It requires a lot of work, but final effect is.. electrifying :D

Hey, I want to present my latest project, intended for the physics lesson. I used high voltage transformer from some very old tv. The design produces a much higher current frequency (~50 kHz) and voltage (~10 kV). Such frequency causes that project is 'rather' not dangerous.. ;P
