Slippery slope.

The day we start solving problems like this with nukes... we're gonna be needing a new planet.  ::)

I used to enjoy their videos on youtube, guys with masks and weird voice with left-over background text from The Matrix, their 'high level' english and stuff.

At least they have a sense of drama.  :P

Now, The Islamic State militant group (ISIS) has released a statement, responding to Anonymous’s declaration of total war.
They (ISIS) called Anonymous – IDIOTS

I guess if anonymous could hack into some military drones and drop some bombs in heavy ISIS areas instead of DDoSing some randomfag ISIS support site and twitter accounts there would actually be some kind of accomplishment. If I were the US, Russia, UK, France, etc I would send a warning to innocents in areas where there is a lot of ISIS and tell them to leave, after X amount of days nuke the fucking place killing everyone. Wouldn't be much support for ISIS after that shit. Simple solutions... There will always be civilian casualties in war, we didn't seem to care in Hiroshima, why is this any different. Targeted airstrikes aren't working nuke fucking Syria and look at the marvelous mushroom cloud that is dominance and peace

We all hope you never become leader of any country with military power.

Networking / Re: USB Tethering/ Forward ports
« on: November 02, 2015, 07:55:34 am »
So you are actually using your phone as a wifi dongle? Why don't you just buy a wifi card or usb stick and connect your PC directly to your wlan? In your case you would have to forward the port on the router to your phone and from your phone to your PC. I do not think that you can do that on your phone.

It's a temporary setup, that's why I didn't buy a wifi card.

Hm. Thanks.

Networking / USB Tethering/ Forward ports
« on: November 02, 2015, 06:56:49 am »
My situation:

I'm using USB Tethering on my android (via Easy Tether Pro) to access internet on my PC. My phone is connected to my wifi network.

The problem:

Suppose I want to host a webserver on my PC and make it accessible via the internet. (Outside my Local network), how am I supposed to open ports?  :-X

No joy:

My phone's IP address is 192.168.100.5
My PC's IP is 192.168.117.2

Ideas?

Na. To them, we're not even an intelligent life form.
Maybe their 'astronomers' spotted us a long time ago and reported back as "Planet with water and life. But no sign of intelligent life form."  ;D

That thing is 1500 light years away. So, whatever we're looking at, it's 1500 years in THE PAST. :o

Anyway, my real issue is, what impact is the Discovery of another intelligent life form gonna have on our species? Maybe religious implication? Food for thought.

Woah. You're right. I didn't notice these. My bad.
I found the website and thought I'd be fun to have my desktop feel like my Android and shared it here.

Sorry.

Beginner's Corner / Re: Does SSLTRIP Still Work?

Would I be able to go into an un-secure network and begin sniffing an IP with SSLSTRIP?

Not with most websites anyway... GOOGLE IT.

We all have Internet-connected smartphones in our pockets, but it’s very hard to find a place on Internet to feel secure and private. No doubt, there is data Encryption on cell phones, but what’s the use if it is cracked by hackers or law enforcement?
What if the encrypted files don’t exist in the first place for law enforcement to decrypt it? That’s the motive behind DroidStealth, a new Android encryption tool that not only protects sensitive data with obfuscation, but also hides its existence on your phone as if it has nothing to hide.
