Projects and Discussion / Starting a new project...need ideas[Python/C/C++]...Collaborate?

I'm looking to start a new programming project cause I'm pretty bored with the Ada classes I'm taking. Pretty much don't care what language (py,C,C++) just need some ideas, maybe some novice collaborators :D I'm new to this stuff so go easy  :)
