Google "Stingray phone tracker".
But it's not available for the average citizen, only police forces and the like.

There are apps for that. If you want to track via GSM towers like the l33t people do, then my friend you are out of luck. Unless you can hack one of the towers that won't happen. Now on a more realistic side of things, if the phone is smart, like really smart, I mean Android smart, then you can install some apps that log and/or send GPS coords to you so you can see where the phone travels.

Yeah you pretty much limited to the GPS apps.

The stingray acts like a tower, so no need to hack an actual tower.
Good luck finding one, though.

While we're at it, do you also want us to tell you how to hack a satellite?

In android market there is an app called GPS tracking pro. Never tried it but from reading the reviews it's not that bad.

Yes, please. I appreciate it :)
But seriously, if I had found apps I wouldn't make a thread would I?

People have to register in the app in order to be able to be tracked.

What I'm trying to say is that your contributions here are just questions and more questions. But suit yourself.

I was going to say earlier this morning when I first saw his post. He always asks questions?

I'm a noob, it's true. I was hoping Evilzone would help me learn...
In all honesty, I love evilzone because people here are knowledgeable and resourceful. But I'm not. I'm only 18 years old. I can't help anyone when I'm nothing more than a noob myself.

Most of us are in about that age range. It's all about dedication, do research more before asking a question.

Being young is not an obstacle. Most people here are or were young when they knocked on the doors of hacking and security, some of them were 14 years old. As long as you have a brain and a strong perseverance, you can be whatever you want.

Dear,
One way of tracking a cell phone is you need to install an app which sends you the coordinates the phone you hacked, it is lame but effective. The second approach is very sexy and comes with some significant effort; you need to be well versed on handling electronic circuits and the signal they carry. One thing I can tell you is the cellular devices are far more vulnerable than a computer because of the nature of simplicity and compactness “their compactness comes with the compromise on security”. If you can do this hack you can not only track any phone but also tap any conversion, send anonymous messages or calls, trace and reroute a call and everything you can imagine. First you need to think of making some modifications on your digital satellite receiver or may be your microwave ;) and if you put a considerable amount of effort you can crack a5 cipher.
You can start your quest here: http://www.hackcanada.com/blackcrawl/cell/

"please don't install a gps tracker on ppl who trusted you with their phone." and it is not a hack.
