- spectrwm (proxx is always saying about tiling WM's so.. i went for one that does both...  and i must say i've fallen in love with spectrwm! use it as tiles more than not.)

-feh - i like backgrounds

-urxvt - i'm used to it, and with it's transparency, it works well with feh.

- virtualbox [So i can test shit and not break my whole system]

- coreutils


This is the shit you are guarantee to find on any Linux system I use regularly. The only one that might vary is virtualbox in case the system is already running in a vm or isn't mine.
