Dont know what to post?

This topic is a help/guide post on what and where to post things.

So, you dont know what to post? Well, its a honest thing. Its not always simple to know what to post. Either because you feel you are not on the same level as the other members, or because you simply do not know what people want to see. I know the feeling, you want to contribute but dunno how.

This is a few things that helps me post things when I feel I have to post something:

• Post obvious things. Even tho its obvious, most poeple wont know about it even tho its obvious to you. Simple things like a online hax<->string converter can be posted and people will really make use of it.
• Post idea outlines. You dont have to have a complete idea and plan on how to do it. Post your idea(s) and make people contribute to them, comment on them or simply tell you this is to stupid.
• Projects: Any project you have worked on, working on or are planning are welcome. Same as point(s) above; Dosent need to be a complete project, dosent have to be complex, cool or awesome. Someone might find it awesome, complex or and cool nonetheless. Can even be a project idea.

In general, post anything you think is worth posting, even if looks dumb to you. And as ande said, something that seems simple to you, might be complex to others and vice versa, so don't hesitate to ask as you and other can learn from each other.

As I'm not a long time member of this forum I'm maybe wrong but in my opinien this is a serious forum where you should not ask if anybody can hack someone for you.

Have you cleaned up your box after the last login (cookies and stuff). Maybe you should try to use another computer or just use a linux live cd. Maybe you can logon then.

A bit confusing reply, but I think I get your point. Yes, things like "How do I hack xyz" will be removed, and therefore there is no point in posting it, this is also covered in the rules. Other stupid things are also removed, but if you are not 100% sure it is stupid, post it and see what happens.
