Ah I see. I guess I was a bit thrown of because as it is now, I had only set up one vlan with one of the routers on it. I did not set up vlan for the other router. I'll have to delve deeper into my switches configurations. The vlan functionality doesn't seem to be very complex, or maybe I'm missing something. The web interface has quite a large amount of different options. I'll be exploring them for awhile.
I just hate that I don't have more hardware i.e. a netbook or something to use as a router. The only other computer I had besides mine(my gf's) took a shit last night. Not sure what's wrong with it although I've deduced it to being a problem with the charger input... either way, it's not coming back any time soon. Thing is way overdue for death anyway. So now I only have one laptop and two routers
It sounds like what you're saying in your explanation is that if I want the vlan's to act as two independent networks I'll need each vlan IP range to have a router. So at least I've got that covered.
