What is your favorite thing to make/do and why? I have not made anything, but I want to make something that's rad for the first time around.

The beige box was cool back in the day, but you can do the same kinda phreaking with astrix and some linux knowledge.

But to be honest,  don't go doing stupid shit from that book. If you want to build bombs and shit, learn chemistry or at least amateur fireworks.

I do not condone or support anything from that book. Loose your hand and/or fingers at your own risk.

**Warning, This shit is stupid dangerous*** but i'm not gonna be that guy that tells you how to live your life, if you off yourself doing stupid shit, it's your own damn fault, and I'm sure you can appreciate the weight of that responsibility.

That being said.

The matchstick tennis ball is pretty fun and so is are the napalm, thermite, and molatov cocktails (but please do be careful) and just say no to fertilizer bombs (buying stuff in quantity will get you on an fbi watchlist)... always have proper protective equipment (and fire suppressants and for the love of god know which type of extinguisher to use on a given type of fire), don't do this stuff in populated areas or places with alot of natural fuel (i.e. the woods) do it in an open area out in the boonies, and have an exit strategy in place (that preferably isn't on a main road...) It is illegal in most places to start fires/blow shit up, so cops will probably be on their way if someone hears a loud boom.

As for the other stuff... most of the boxes are out of date now sense most of our infrastructure has switched from analogue to digital. But there are alot of new methods of phreaking:

Knowing how to hotwire a car is a usefull skill to have as is lockpicking

I'm not going to do any of the big, dangerous stuff. I'm just going to make some small touch explosives and things like that.

I have thought about making the thermite and napalm, but I doubt I will due to the danger of it. The paint can bomb does sound fun if someone really pisses me off enough(I would probably put it in their car).

Thermite isn't dangerous unless you're clinically retarded.
napalm can be.

Id say the A-Cookbook was useful for me only to get a few ideas, then research the PROPER way to make some the explosives.

Its a cool read dont get me wrong, I just wouldnt reccomend using it as an authoritative source, it's similar to TOTSE, a remnant of days gone past when this information was actually hard to get. Nowadays... well thats just not a problem. If someone can't tell you how to synthesize RDX or similar within five minutes of googling, they shouldn't be allowed to try and make RDX lol

Yeah I'm using the A-cookbook to find things that I want to make/ learn how to do. Once I figure that out I'm going to start researching.
