Beginners mistake is to think that more Watts is beter, its not.
Fucking around on some network is no fun when you have connection drops all the time.

Basically saying, a stable connection is much better, don't worry about power at the moment, read some books on the topic, thee might be some in the ebook section, not too sure

A proper miniPCI wireless card in either a board or laptop/pc will provide exactly what you need.
the AWUSXXXX is just a fucking toy, fuck realtek.
