Rivals features gameplay somewhat similar to the earlier Hot Pursuit, with exotic cars and high-speed police chases. Players take on the role of a Racer or a Cop, with each side of the law offering its own set of challenges, risks and rewards.

Has to be the lamest NFS of them all. It looks all flashy and shit in the video and screenshots, ok, I'll give it a 10 for the really nice HD graphics, but that's pretty much it. It has no story, it looks like it has no end either. It may be fun for those who play online and chase each other, but if you play the campaign... well, there is no campaign.
You get redundant tasks to do over and over. I played it for maybe 20 minutes before deleting that shit out of my x360. I fucking swear - NFS is getting shittier and shittier with every release. Right after Pro Street it started to go down, with nothing interesting and new to offer to the player, they just said - oh fuck it, we'll just slap HD graphics to compensate for lack of story.
This was the last time I ever got the new NFS.
