Maximum safe TX level for TL-WN722N & AWUS036NHA
« on: October 30, 2015, 12:59:11 am »
As the title really, whats the highest TX rate you've had with the above cards? Increasing mine to get better range (along with 12dbi antennae) but don't want to fry them. Not too bothered out the 722 as its only a tenner, so I'll have a play with that first. Any advice gratefully received - already started one house fire this week - don't fancy another for a while yet...

Cheers

Read this post on why that's a bad idea and you're going to ruin your card

Thanks. I'll run with my initial set up and see how it fares. Will pick up yagi anteannae if my range is shit. I'm hoping the 12dbi ant will be enough to hit my mates wifi roughly 100 yards away.
