Dumpper and Jumpstart
« on: December 28, 2015, 11:05:27 pm »
Hey everyone, I was looking for any other threads on the software called Jumper and Dumpper I didnt see any other mentions of it so I figured I would start a discussion about it. I wont take credit for finding this as another member found it and came onto the IRC last night asking some questions about it. Looks like Dumpper is another GUI based suite for WEP/WPA/WPA2/WPS to penetrate wireless networks. Here is the SourceForge link to it:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/dumpper/?source=typ_redirect

There are some other threads about it on other forums and reddit as well

https://www.reddit.com/r/hacking/comments/2mt3wr/step_by_step_guide_to_using_winpcap_dumpper_and/

I have dabbled in router hacking for a bit now and this is the first I have heard of it. Most conversations or documentation about it is in Spanish. Anyways I wanted to share and am going to look further into this over the next day or two as I would like to learn more about its inner workings.

tl;dr Heard of Dumper? wireless hacking tool. How does it work?

Thanks,

-V

Hi , I was interested in Wifi hacking and I got started with Kali ( Reaver , Aircrack ) and I got nowhere because most of the recent routers have protection against Reaver like attacks

Anyway I searched the web day and night and I found dumpper + jumpstart solution

It is so simple any n00b like me can do it , I was able to get my hands on English version of the dumpper and with the help of jumpstart you can connect to some routers that have a master pin and dumpper finds them , It wont work for every router but I hacked many this way

I will make a tutorial about dumpper and jumpstart and I'll try to upload the English version of dumpper if admins let me

Shitty clickware... It has a database of WPS master pins and it tries it against the router to see if it connects... same things as:
reaver -i <monitor interface> -b <target access point> -vv --pin=MASTERPIN

If you know the make and model of the router you can try the master pin. So it's not cracking anything, just finding out what router manufacturer and chip set it has, and if its vulnerable there you go...

Worthless crapware
