Raspberry Pi

Saw an article about this when I was flipping through a linux magazine today at my local computer store.  I'm not sure if I'm going to buy one yet since I have so many computers laying around my house but these seem pretty badass and they aren't that expensive, a basic unit without an SD card or power cord is only $35.  I checked both websites in their FAQ and they seem to be sold out :(

The Raspberry Pi is a credit-card sized computer that plugs into your TV and a keyboard. It’s a capable little PC which can be used for many of the things that your desktop PC does, like spreadsheets, word-processing and games. It also plays high-definition video. We want to see it being used by kids all over the world to learn programming.

I can't wait for them. More than enough IO, embedded Linux, cheaper than a BeagleBone or any other ARM dev boards.

I've only done AVR stuff so far, and the Pi will be better suited for a lot of project ideas I have.  Hackaday has been covering this since the beginning and has more info.

It would have been boss if they released it a long time ago. Now it's nearly outdated. They could have released it half-assed and it still would have been great for the price. But it will still be useful for learning purposes for quite a while.

They released around 1000 of them, first batch. Customs issues are holding production if I recall right.

Lol no wonder... it's so tiny it looks like a bomb :D
But I want one :) would be so cool!
