Wifi Antenna

Hello Guys.. I have Created a Single Wire Wifi antenna at Home. so i want to connect it to my laptop via USB Direct.. so please help me to which wire i should join or connect my antenna?? in USB there are 4 Wires

1, Power +
2, Power -
3, Data +
4, Data -

so please help me...!!!!!

Any schematics? For both the antenna  and you dongle/built in. Because Vcc ++/-- and Data ++/-- could mean anything,

I have absolutely no idea since there aren't any schematics for your build or the wifi adapter your trying to do this with,


If you reverse polarity's on things you have a sever chance of bricking things.

I think the dude wants to plug his antenna straight to the USB, lol.
You need a dongle bro, one that is for wifi?

yes bro.. u r right.. but i have seen some antenna which are USB and without any type of circuit in that... but i think its ok... no problem.. thanks for help me...

They all have circuits, surface's mount or through-hole.... And no, you will need a WiFi radio to attach an antenna too.


Judging from what you've posted, I don't think you are at the right skill level to take this on.
