Evilzone Design Concept

Hello Evilzone.


Many of you already know this, but we (staff) have been working on a redesign and new features for Evilzone.


So it is only fair for you guys to comment on the current ideas. After all, you are the ones who have to see and use this.

Please leave a comment of what you think. Do criticize but be reasonable and come with ideas for improvement, it is much easier for us to fix things if you tell us what is wrong rather than just pointing out the fact that its wrong.

any reasons for the redesign? Just out of interest.

I think it looks really good, the banner is better than the one there with the equation we have at the moment.

you should put */Hacking and security/* in a cooler font :D

Seems lame Ande. Now, don't take offence but the page looks like it is for some office website.
While the first impression is good it will get old Very quickly.
This current one is bright black, it doesn't get old.

Now, the irc tab. Will it be just address or is it a script .....?

The logo is good but the hacking and security must come under it not to it's right... Seems just off...

Anyhow this was me giving my opinion please do not take offence.. I know you guys must've worked hard for it.

Too bright, make it darker :P

What will the forum theme look like?
Also too plain, there's not enough text, pics, etc around the main area.

how about a bar small bar at the bottom like securityoverride has?
there you could have a quake line terminal poping up with irc

under the menu is the content. in my oppinion the content souldent be the same color

is the menu a js drop down or just links?

some more grapics in the top would be nice, some suttle abstract background maby?

just my 2cents

ande, can you please upload the image in some different way?
I try to open it in the browser or download it, but it does not let me. A few kb get downloaded and it stops and keeps loading forever. All other websites are working perfectly for me, so I don't think it is my connection, and I tried it in 3 different browsers.

Or in fact can anyone else who has the pic upload it on some pic hosting site and send me a PM with a link?

I have no idea why the picture appears corrupt to me. Tried it on two OS'es, 3 browers. Might be corrupt router firewall config files or something.

Current design is better. I personally think its too bright, maybe using the current themes colour would be better. Any chance of getting to see some other screenshots, rather hard to get a feel for the new site with only a preview of the first page.
