Are you using a VPN or proxy while posting this?
I can assure you they will run a full checkup on you and you dont want any website like this associated with your name...
Or am I just paranoid?
Forgot to mention, rebuilding this laptop and selling it as soon as I get an external harddrive. When I buy my new laptop, I'll be in my apartment, not at my parents house. So clean computer, clean (and new) internet connection, plus I'll be building a gaming PC soon and I'll probably use that for this site as it will be ran through multiple levels of security and a home-made proxy. Besides that, if they decide to check me out, it'll be when I apply for the FBI academy AFTER my schooling at either ITT Tech or Henley Putnam (probably the latter, it's cheaper), which means I'll have all the training necessary to get rid of any hint of this site and be completely anonymous. The only reason I feel so confident about all that right now is because my sister and sister in law went through the exact same classes and training I'm going to, and they have the most secure networks I have ever seen.
Not paranoid. People are really retarded when it comes to "hackers" and that includes government agencies. You can't pay for 2600 magazines with a credit card if you work in the security field because they will run checks on you and call you unethical for reading it. Same sort of idea applies to sites like this. While not a 100% gauranteed deal breaker, better safe than sorry IMO
OP;
Try to distance your real self from your handle as much as possible. You don't necessarily need proxys and stuff, but setting up an email solely for your handle and registering it with a fake name would most likely be a good step.
I harbor no ill wishes towards feds, so I wish you luck with that ^_^
Like I said, I might abandon this account on the site for a new one..
