You better run Tor if you're going to put your nose on Onionland
Onion.to and Tor2Web are service providers, but they entirely break the purpose of not knowing each other that surfs a site. You can't know where a tor web server is(at least not by cheap means), but Onion.to does know you on Clearnet. The tor node web server doesn't know you either... but where are you left since Onion.to knows you? (your IP, user agent, etc).
They might say they don't keep logs, and it may be they don't, but there's always something left around...
just saying.
PS: Is not that running Tor will protect you, in fact, it has its flaws like any other software but you better run your own node and don't leave your data to 3rd parties.
