All i know is in simple math is,  the "/" and "*" goes first then the " - " and " + " comes around to play,

so the answer is 7

now i have a question,
we know
2^a = 2^b
means a = b,
my books never tot me why it is like this. It just show them as rules. So why is it like this?

besides the obvious .. here it is how..

2^a = 2^b
then
(2^a)/(2^b)=1

(2*2^(a-1))/(2*2(b-1))=1

cancel the two 2's..

and repeat.. you'll find
2^(a-(a-1))/2^(b-(b-1))

=2^1/2^1 = 1

now this can only happen if a and b were equal..

Something quite simple:
6-1*0+2/2=?
I used BODMAS and the ans is 7.Here's the solution..
6-1*0+2/2
=> 6-1*0+1  cause 2/2=1  ;)
1*0=0
=>6-0+1
=7.
The one I get everyone with us 2+2*2. Most everyone will get 8.
The ans is 6...
The most popular one to troll people with is 48/2(9+3) = ?
lol
the ans is 2.

Here is how I'll solve a=b.
Given,
2^a=2^b
then,
(2^a)/2^b=1
Since base are same therefore it'll go like this,
2^(a-b)=1.
Since anything raised to power 0 will be 1 except 0(and/or infinity.).
This shows that a will always be equal to b. 8)

For example:

a = 2, b = 2.

2^2 = 2^2

4 = 4.  This is true, and a = b.

If a does NOT equal b, then an example would be:

a = 2, b = 3

2^2 = 2^3

4 = 8.  This is obviously untrue.

Therefore, if a and b are NOT the same number, then the equation will not be equal.  Hope this clears that up.

I got everything at the first time when p_2001 explained it. No need to buzz with that problem anymore.

If you are satisfied from the answer that p_2001 gave you that's nice, but don't be rude when another member tries to help  you, maybe another member gain something from  Sacrifyce's answer, you can't tell anyone when he should post something or not.

And if you payed some attention at Sacrifyce's post you could see how correctly explains the problem.
