Amazing magic trick

I found this magic trick on youtube, and its amazing.
I tried to figure out how he might have done it, but I failed.

I would be really grateful if someone would help me understand how this trick is done.
I saw it done several times by different people, and it always puzzles me.

I usually figure out magic tricks pretty quickly, but this just doesn't make sense. The people selection seemed very random.

I believe it is the table sent to open the box.
that little table had the paper with the tweet written by someone .
Now look carefully, the guy picks up the cylinder with some flair. Rather than picking up the thing, he performs a rolling motion.
now, if the cylinder was not as intact as we were made to believe?

the thing is actually two vertical halves with one just slightly bigger.
now, if we consider this arrangement and our cylinder is such that one half can be rotated over the other to complete the cylinder or break it as needed then if the paper lies below the thing and we are to roll the cylindar it will make the paper roll along and get enclosed.

now you have a complete cylindar with a paper rolled in it.

That makes sense. It must have been the table and there must be someone else working with him on this.

yes, he presses/Taps the table, thereby unlocking some sort of spring mechanism.


also, you hear the sound when he puts his hand in the box.. The rolling motion with the sound have it away..
Also his little jar has both ends with the lid..

this is what confirmed my idea to me.. Because only then will the jar be able to rotate and become whole. it needs a lid at both ends.

You can actually see both halves of the supposed cylinder box if you pause the video @ 3:31 (right after he starts pulling the paper out). Watch it with 720p.
You can also see some kind of lever or switch on the close-up @ 3:23, right where he had his thumb before.

In that case Ellen had to be on it with him, because from so close she should have seen the cylinder mechanism and seem how he did it.
