Tunneling Software in Linux
« on: April 01, 2013, 05:52:59 pm »
Are there any tunneling software for linux out there? Have just moved to Ubuntu and need to bypass school filtering system. I could setup an SSH connection to my home wi-fi router but that'd require changing the default router firmware and I'm too lazy for that!  :P
What would linux junkies do if they were back in high school?

But they're not stable.

Free does not always mean stable. Im sure you can pay for a VPN and have a stable one, but otherwise you can't do much.

with Hotspot shield and Ultrasurf on Windows you can do much.
They're still commercial programs and make money off ads.

that depend on what you want, 7$ a month for a vpn is not much money if you care about speed and anonymity

because if you can find money for other pleasure you can make it for a vpn as well, its all about what you prioritize. maybe YOU don't think that 7$ is worth for a vpn, but you can't say its expensive. maybe it should cost less or be totally free but its still not expensive for the once who really wants it

I don't make money at all. Zilch. Not even a penny. I'm the kid who lives in the streets with his computer and uses McDonald's free wi-fi. If I drink it's always friends buying.
Are there any free solutions?
