Just got a new phone

Mom went to renew her plan on our 3 phones, but the plan we had was cancelled, so we had to upgrade to the next best plan. That plan was $110 for 3 basic phones, meaning all they can really do is call and text. So mom decided to spend an extra $20 for 3 smartphones. I now have a Galaxy s2. What are some apps I should get installed on at? Any wifi crackers out there? Anything I should get just for the sake of having it?

candy crush FTW but really unless you plan on rooting it there isn't much out there for security. unless you want to do some war driving.

Mhm. Get a keyboard who supports ctrl+esc and arrows and such in landscape mode. And just do everything in terminal

I searched for drivers for my wifi card on my samsung s3 to support injection so I could use rever and aircrack-ng.
I did not find any to s3 but there were multiple sites offering it for s2 so I would look at that if I were you.
Also dsploit if a must if you want to do things like sniff, man in the middle attacks etc

Hmm yeah I forgot about rooting them..I'm definitely not going to root it for a little while yet, I think our contract is only a year so I'll save up money for a new phone by then and then bullshit with this one. I'm really surprised though.. As it is, with no mods or jailbreaking or anything like that, it's really a nice phone. My choice was between this and an iphone, but I REALLY didn't want an iphone so even though I was scared this would disappoint me, I got it, and I really like it. So yeah, I'll just write some things down and save it for my end of contract.
