YESS!!! I'm also a gymrat.
I follow a routine 4 days a week to work my chest, back, feet and shoulders.

Into fitness? I guess you can say so, I'm making it my career. I'm about to educate myself to fitness instructor and personal trainer.
Anyway, I workout six days a week, to get through my whole body. Besides that, my diet it all scheduled and fitted to me. My plan is to eventually compete in Mens Physique.

It would really benefit you to get a more scheduled/planned workout routine and diet.

For some reason, I find it easier to cut than bulk. I have a hard time eating enough to consume enough calories.
Full-body programs are fine for beginners, but once you step just a bit above the average level you're not going to benefit much from it.

Deadlifts are one of the best full body workouts, and it has the highest anabolic effect of any lift (Sans maybe squatting)
Endpoint: If your goal is mass... You should work up to dead-lifting/squatting often.

I'm trying to get back into working out myself. Recently I have been doing more bodyweight exercises since trying to get to the gym has been difficult due to having a child and just having a hectic schedule

Well, i have to work out to show my patients/clients an example cos i am into physiotherapy.
I kinda have different routines in accordance with the the current situation but i end up doing almost every routine per week cos i have to demonstrate back exercises and pelvic floor muscle exercises when conducting a class.

My point was, that you could make your schedule much more effective. You need to incorporate some hypertrophy and pyramid sets. The muscles only grow by being constantly pushed further than last time. Meaning, if you do the same reps with the same weights, you're not going to see huge improvement.
I normally do 4 sets, since I really like to stress my body. I then work my way down in reps. How many reps I do, highly depends on the exercise I'm doing, but it could look like this: 12/10/8/6 and increasing the weight for every time you drop in reps.

Not as crazy as I'd think? I would never recommend any body to dead lift (Or squat for that matter) every single day. Reason being, that your body needs time to rest. Dead lifts are a pretty hard exercise for your body, meaning it would need time to rest. Otherwise you'd run yourself into injuries. Train smarter, not harder.

That's entirely dependent on your current level of fitness and your physiology. While that stands true for the average person, and especially for hard gainers (which is what I assume you are), it's not at all true for certain body types and people at certain levels.
That being said, I'm not recommending you max every time you deadlift, I'm just saying, loading up a couple 45s and doin a bit of cardio with it ain't gonna break the bank.

Won't do anything spectacular for you either, I don't really see any reason to do so? The links you've provided was from sources I don't really recognize as trusted (and known to be trusted) within the fitness community. I know, that a lot within the world of weight lifting and body building is personal preferences, but one thing is certain, your body needs rest.

I used to exercise a lot, borderline obsessively. I have not exercised nearly enough in a long time though. I need to get back to it. I used to have a six pack for crying out loud. I have lost about 30lbs in the last few months though, so I've got that going for me which is nice.

Back on topic: I'm planning on adding more cardio on to my work out if i am able to fit it in. I have been busy with school lately so I was wondering if anyone has any quick exercises that will still allow me to get a good full body workout in.

I am fit in the sense that I do not have excess fat (I think I have less than normal body fat) I did go to the gym 2-3 times a weak last year but now I havw lots of stuff to do:
- 8 hrs school everyday
- Lots of homework
- Extra work and research to be the nest at school
- and the rest of the day I read about hacking and secutity or continue a course.
In weekends I am either with my friends or with family
I do some push ups, squats, sit ups, crunches at home but at a gym my workout is much more structerd and I miss chest workout.

OK. So BACK ON TOPIC:
I work out but I don't at the same time. I don't regularily go work out, but I'm above averagely active, so I stay thin-ish. I wish I could be a fitness buff but, and no bullshit excuses here, just don't have the willpower/ patience to do it.
BUt my idea of above averagely active is also cycling 4 centuries this summer. (which is a total of 400 miles btw) plus LOTS of training for those, and taking intermural sports, both ultimate frisbee and flag. Plus just in general, y'know, tossing the football around etc, not being a total couch potato haha
If someone wanted to reccomend a, not easy per say, but fast workout I could squeeze in in my one hour break between classes.. keping in mind i require sustenance as well. i'd be all ears. For reference, 200ish lbs, 6 2, would like more core strength, legs are plenty toned from the cycling and im comfortable with my arms, being able to toss around full kegs pretty easily is a fine level for me... I like real strength more than for show too (not saying show is bad, but I do know lots of people do certain exercises because hey want to look a certain way, I just want strength). So yeah, something that would beef up my chest/core would be ideal, with some arm/leg just for balance, but I get enough exercise there just living lol.
