: plz Help (hotel wifi login page) how to bypass?
: Day_dreamer October 31, 2014, 06:51:07 AM
 :'(
My current location is near a hotel (100 meters), its strange cause I can still get a fair signal hehe its an open network, but as I open my browser I'm prompt with a login page.
Do you guys have any idea how to attack this type of uncommon setup?    :'(

So many options, so I'll name a few and trust you can figure it out.

Btw this is not rare or odd. it's quite common.

IP over DNS
IP over ICMP
Spoofing a MAC Address of an authenticated client.
SE'ing for a user/pass combo.
Some url trickery to bypass their proxy rules occasionally works..
Im sure theres more but im thethered to my phone at the farm, so Im making this brief.

Or just paying for it :D loljk

Did you manage to sort it out? Did you get access in the end?

What I like to do when I go to hotels (In NYC frequently so I have better luck) is I look for an Access point and then use Fern to just bruteforce a poorly secured network WEP typically.
