Hackforums is pure crap. Looks like shit and its 99% idiots.
Without saying to much bad things about The Outlaws, as they are or used to be friends of Evilzone. They are.. Stereotypical "badguy" hackers and lacks a bit of quality posts.
Not sure what I think about Hellboundhackers. Haven't heard a lot of them or used their site before. But they do got a blast of ads on their site and that says enough for me.
As for my favorites. Obviously Evilzone have to be in there. But I used to like Intern0t as well, tho they have been a bit inactive lately.

evilzone ofcourse,
Hackbb is also pretty okay

Well, you just made me google some sites. Didn't know about 'em. But I don't think there can be any other site better than Evilzone. No chance !
I'm not saying this because I'd member here or for that karma shit but Evilzone is the site where we say 'We should have this.. We should do that'. This 'WE-factor' has so much importance in any forum. We have the coolest admins, quick reply on any problem, great talents, no ads, trolls, ARTS,... So this site is not just about codes. It's a community.
So definately, ONE AND ONLY EvilZone !!
(that was a great fucking speech)
-
This is the first hacker forum I've ever seen, stumbled across it on accident when I googled for some info on backtrack, glad I found this place :)

Yes exactly, Ezone is the first place I ever participated most. No doubt.

Thank you, this means a lot to us :)
As for the @OP: I don't visit much of the forums :P I tend to stick to one, and it's Evilzone. Was many others before it though...
SecurityOverride is nice because of their giant library of all kinds of challenges, it's an awesome community as well - more on IRC than forums, they said the website doesn't get updated too much.
Intern0t was great at the time when it was active - they still have many loyal members, many idle on IRC, MaXe (the founder) is one of the idlers. Their forum is what I would call dead - 5 posts per month :P
Hackforums was one of my first forums I joined regarding this "hacking" topic, but then I understood how lame it is, but I kinda should say that it's because of Hackforums I ended up here :P
Yeah, that's about it.

Gamerzplanet (http://gamerzplanet.net) I think deserves a mention, as does the Cheatengine (http://forum.cheatengine.org/) forums
-
Gamerzplanet (http://gamerzplanet.net) I think deserves a mention, as does the Cheatengine (http://forum.cheatengine.org/) forums
I cant see how gamerzplanet is related to hacking and or security other than the programming boards. They are also a way to big and messy site for my taste. Cheatengine however I have used way way way back, dident quite get a taste of the community but there for sure are some talented people there.
-
Gamerzplanet is definately a hacking site specifically game hacking, And game hacking is one of the best ways to learn to hack imo.... they also have some very talented people.

Forums worth visiting
EvilZone.org
http://securityoverride.net (http://securityoverride.net/)
This forum i used to visit before i decided to join EZ
http://l33ts.org/forum/ (http://l33ts.org/forum/)
It's full of skids, just like HF but you can find some useful info
-
evilzone ofcourse,
Hackbb is also pretty okay
This
Not sure if this is necessarily a hacking forum but perhaps Nobody @ Zerodays
-
I've spent a lot of time looking for other forums, and I very rarely come across one where the members have skill. But, right now I chill around three forums, in the order of my activeness:
evilzone.org
iexploit.org
securityoverride.net
Great forums lost to time/law enforcement:
h4ck-y0u.org ### FUCK I MISS THIS PLACE
root-the.net
hackhound.org
milw0rm.com ### The forums...not the exploit database portion
progenic.com ### Again...just the forums
hackerdox.org
-
h4ck-y0u.org ### FUCK I MISS THIS PLACE
What happened to this place ? I remember it back in 2008
-
Tumb up for EZ, Intern0t.
-
Good news! ;D Old good HackHound don`t died - it`s reborn to ImSecure.org

Whenever I get a package of plain M&Ms, I make it my duty to continue the strength and robustness of the candy as a species. To this end, I hold M&M duels.
Taking two candies between my thumb and forefinger, I apply pressure, squeezing them together until one of them breaks and splinters. That is the "loser," and I eat the inferior one immediately. The winner gets to go another round.
I have found that, in general, the brown and red M&Ms are tougher, and the newer blue ones are genetically inferior. I have hypothesized that the blue M&Ms as a race cannot survive long in the intense theater of competition that is the modern candy and snack-food world.
Occasionally I will get a mutation, a candy that is misshapen, or pointier, or flatter than the rest. Almost invariably this proves to be a weakness, but on very rare occasions it gives the candy extra strength. In this way, the species continues to adapt to its environment.
When I reach the end of the pack, I am left with one M&M, the strongest of the herd. Since it would make no sense to eat this one as well, I pack it neatly in an envelope and send it to M&M Mars, A Division of Mars, Inc., Hackettstown, NJ 07840-1503 U.S.A., along with a 3x5 card reading, "Please use this M&M for breeding purposes."
This week they wrote back to thank me, and sent me a coupon for a free 1/2 pound bag of plain M&Ms. I consider this "grant money." I have set aside the weekend for a grand tournament. From a field of hundreds, we will discover the True Champion.
There can be only one.

Shameless plug.
http://kbcarte.wordpress.com (http://kbcarte.wordpress.com)
Also, Kulver's blog has some cool stuff on it. The paper craft things are really good.
In order of best to worst.
GOD) Here on EZ, duhhh..
1) Hackaday.com
2) Hackedgadgets.com
3) (not hacking, but code) Daniweb.com
4) (used to be)hellboundhackers.org, but it's dead and people are complete and utter dicks. I wont recommend that site anymore.
-
NONE
-
I used to love Underground hackers but that went down quite a while ago now. Was a mod for a while.
-
What happened to this place ? I remember it back in 2008
Andy; the guy that was hosting us stopped hosting the forums for fear of DDoS and legal threats; and community had become so fragmented that nobody picked it back up again. The IRC is still running though irc.rizon.net#h4cky0u
-
I like corlan very much: http://www.corelan.be/
you should take a look at there tutorial section. These are really great.
-
I like https://haxme.org/forum/
It is not as active as EZ, but the community is great.
-
I came across many sites but ez struck a cord with me. I the wealth on info on this Site is amazing and it keeps me coming back
-
I have to vote Evilzone on this one. What I like most is the community behind these boards. There is such an expansive and high level base of knowledge on the forums here, this enticed me, drew me in, and personally left me pleasantly surprised when I first signed up.
My experience so far. Well, you may not hear what you want to to hear. But you'll definitely hear what you need to hear. That in itself will help you grow and learn. That's what I love about this place. The boards themselves are clean and polished, the content is rich with informative. To me this place is like the XDA-Developers of the computing world. It's everything under one roof. If it involves computing then this is the place you need to be.
I'm very glad to have found, joined, and been given the opportunity to contribute to such a great community :)
As for other sites I'm familiar with:
- hackthissite.org
- hackcommunity.com
- hellboundhackers
- hackforums
If I had to rate my top 3:
- Evilzone
- Hack This Site
- Hellbound Hackers
2/3 - I love their practice/testing section :)
-
EvilZone of course
and i dont just look at it as a hacking forum but as a community, a second home and i use it more than fuckbook (*facebook)!
THREE EMOTES FOR EZ
:) :D ;D
-
When I searched for a hacking forum i came across evilzone kind of quick
I really like it because there is some very skilled people here and there is things
I can put my teeth's in, there is also good chemistry here and people willing to help.
There are forums out there for more advanced stuff, but before you can master the basic stuff you soulden't go for the advanced, not saying thet evilzone don't have any advanced stuff.
I consider Evilzone the best forum out there for my taste and its always going to be my home.
-
definitely EvilZone, I really like the quality of the posts and love the community ;D
and I like the challenges on security-override.net,but that's it...
I also registered on intern0t,but I don't really like the forum...
same for python-forum.org...
-
and I like the challenges on security-override.net,
I completely forgot about securityoverride.org
It's a nice place that also gives great challenges. When I first came across the site I wasn't sure how highly trafficked their forums were though. It's look as though there was not too much activity going on by looking at the thread count. But the challenges are always fun and engaging :)
-
Not a forum, but phrack.org is cool. Tis an ezine
-
For me:
InterN0T.org
EvilZone.org
SecurityOverride.org
-
Been at hackforums. It is filled with skids.
Trying this forum now.
Btw new here :P
-
There is a welcome section. Feel free to drop an intro ;D
-
Im a bit biased but undergroundsystems.co (used to be undergroundsystems.org but the domain was dropped :/) - It was started like 10-11 years ago now and i was a member for most of that time. But the old admins didnt have time for the site any more (lives, sheesh), so ive started taking on that role a few months ago
A little slow right now but it used to be a great site, that still has a lot of intelligent members, just not as active any more.
I can see you are an admin there, And you have your personal photo as your avatar?
-
Shameless Plug

Don't know why no one has mentioned Binary Revolution (binrev.com) yet.
They're the only real old school hacking community which embodies the ethic that I have seen alive to this day.
The Ethical Hacker Network and Antionline are also worth mentioning.
(and obviously, Evilzone)
-
http://www.ljuska.org/ good forum ! :)
-

Exactly. I signed up for a few other forums, just expand my horizons a bit. Didn't like any of them. Evilzone is the only place where people share ideas, have fun together, and as mentioned is a community. Every other place I've been literally is just a bunch of people asking for something. No actual community sense feel. I take that back, there was a bit of a community among the admins, but the pretty much excluded the rest of the users. So yes, evilzone forever and always will have a place in my heart :)
</soapbox>
-
I'd say Evilzone, ofc, and HackBB.
HackBB is kinda inactive thou, but I find it still good.
-

I find HackBB is way too much carding and botnets.
-
I used to be on Hackforums but I found that it is a bunch of dumb's. All that is on there anymore is dos products. Other than that Evilzone of course.
-
I find HackBB is way too much carding and botnets.
Waves of noobs come and go which is wicked annoying. And it does need more talk about actual hacking.

As someone being half Chinese:
eviloctal.com
Any other Chinese in here? PM me and we can start a small group :).
xie xie

Of course, no other forum has more in depth tutorials and discussions than Evil Zone, but I also go on www.styxnet.pw (http://styxnet.pw/).
-
I am new here but this forum looks great so far and lots of info. The only other hacking forums I have ever visited are hackforums (http://hackforums.net) but they are just dicks and zero-security.org (http://www.zero-security.org)
I think zero-security is new but not sure but I also think the admin is a bit of a dick. I found them whilst looking for a doxing tut and he was having a battle with someone who thought he was safe behind a proxy and the admin somehow still doxed him and released all info on him and his family which i thought was wrong and i never went back. although if anyone knows how he doxed past a proxy feel free to share as i would like to know LOL. The only good thing for him is that it became one of the most viewed threads.
