So I got bored tonight and had the urge to mess around with FL studio. I took some tips from hanoratu's guide and a video, and threw together a few tracks. Suggestions? Criticism? OMFG YOU SUCK? Pretty new at this, have no idea what I'm doing, but I find it kinda fun. Let me know what you think, thanks :)

not bad. ermm... i like how the 'instruments' mix together, however, I think the song structure could use some work.
Official verdict: Very good, especially if you are new to it.

Thanks, I honestly just took a chord and manipulated and exploited it until I got what sounded different. I'll have to look into structure, wasn't going for anything standardly done, was just having some fun :P

Don't add so many notes at one time..I like what you did with the piano on Science, but sometimes you have to remove a couple of the notes so it doesn't sound so clustered. In Science, it's where a chord transitions to the next chord. I liked Rain much more than Science. And like Sparky said, if you're new to this, it's pretty damn good.

Rain has too long intro. Cut it in half, then it'll be OK.

I listened to them both the next day, and came out with the same conclusion xD.
