Hacking and Security / Idea on Security Feature
« on: January 02, 2016, 03:16:06 am »
I just thought of a good idea for a security feature and I know I would never really get it pushed but it made me think about something. Where would I even submit my idea and get it pushed but still keep credit if it were to become a "thing"?

The Alfa AWUS051NH seems to be a popular  adapter for what you are trying to do. This specific one does not support 802.11ac though. If you feel that is something you need just do some research.

With telenetwork I make $10/ hr plus commission. I've gotten good at sales so on average I make around  $18/ hr. Some make more sales some make none. Its really not worth the stress if you don't put effort into sales.

I've recently gotten a little more serious about programming and want to build some things to show future employers. I have and idea for a site i would like to build but I probably don't have the knowledge needed. First ill explain my idea and then ask you guys to let me know if it is too much for a beginner.

I am really in to MTG. There are sites out there that let you catalog your card collection and tells you the prices of the cards. I want a site that will do both but at the same time alert you when the price of a card has spiked or dropped. This would let anyone that is into the MTG stock buy and sell easier. A good example of how this could be beneficial is the weeks before a new set comes out, you can sell cards before they lose too much value or after the new set comes you can watch for cards that you didn't think would be worth anything go up so you could buy a lot and wait to sell later. This is already possible using several sites but I would like to have it all in one place with mobile alerts.

What do you guys think?

I understand the caution and yes to your research but this is in fact a real job. Ive been here for 8 months and again its entry level. starts at $10/ hrs plus commissions on antivirus products sold and other service upgrades. There are other legit work at home places too that ill post when I get off work. kelly services is one that I can think of now but I don't have the link. My wife worked with them on an Apple contract.

We have contracts with Frontier, Fairpoint, centrylink and even google fiber but the google contract does not have work at home positions.

The company I work for is hiring for work at home positions. Its easy stuff and a good entry level job. You would just be taking calls for and ISP and troubleshooting. Id get $50 per person hired but I cant give out my personal info here but ill be cool and drop the link here. Its not for all states so be sure t check that info.
I get on here about once per day so if you have questions ill answer but be patient!

I currently work a job doing tech support for an ISP. I feel this is a good entry job but don't want to stay here. My end goal is to be a pen. tester. I feel that for the next few years will just be resume building for that. I feel that my next stop on this journey should be to land a coding job for a while. Ill me at my current job for a year in Feb. What do you guys think? any advice?

I really have looked every where and have found nothing. I want to have music from pandora play on an external speaker but have all of my vent sound and my mic go through my usb head set . Is this possible?

This is the only reply I felt was relevant to what I said. i did not mean to seem like someone that was being missed my only motive was to not be kicked from the group. Again I will finish my degree but for now the only thing I can offer are the same things that everyone on this site probably already knows. Nothing more. I didn't want attention. I only wanted to let it be known that I do plan on being active on this site but I can not do that with the small amount of cs knowledge that I have.
