I think many of the tools I'm using are meant for professionals (as far as I know)  and if I want to use them as one then I'm gonna use them in at least ten years from now.   ;D
My reason is just my curiosity mate.
Wasn't expecting that kind of answer but I enjoyed it. Really appreciate it.

I've been learning for some time through kali and recently found about Parrot security (https://www.parrotsec.org). I'm gonna try it sooner or later, but I'd be grateful for some opinions from you guys.

no, stop thinking like that just start learning. I think there is no way to learn something useless from a book, maybe it's not what you want to learn but never useless.

can't tell if this is the best book out there but except Google searches, videos (see cybrary.it) or pdf (or even articles) I'm pretty satisfied with the CompTIA Network+ Certification All-in-One Exam Guide, Meyers 5th edition. But again if you are a complete noob you might have to make a little search on your own about some terms.  ;)
