How to Recover your micro Sd card Lost Password

So many people are in search for an easy trick to get back their lost password on their micro sd card, other wise known as memory card by some people. Though some other topics are here on how to recover lost password on micro sd card but i decided to share mine because i feel it may be more easier and understanding for some buddies.

There are certain instances where one may forgot his/her micro sd card or
Memory card(MMC) password and may feel that the micro sd card is
useless OR  may wish to get the password of
someone's MMC or micro sd card. Follow these easy, short & proven

steps:
Firstly; Download File explorer if you don't have.
i. Insert the memory card - don't access the memory card
through your phone yet (i.e when you put it in your
phone don't go and open it or view it)

ii. Open file explorer and locate c: system. Look for a file
named
MMCSTORE.

iii. Rename this file to mmcstore.txt

iv. Copy the file i.e mmcstore.txt and send it to your
computer.

v. Now open that file in notepad. When you are finished
you would find the password there.
You Now Have Your Forgotten or Your Friend's
Password.

i have been searching for an easy tutorial on how to recover forgotten password on micro sd card for some years now and couldn't get a simple tutorial, all i got was complicated tutorial until i came across this. Thanks alot for the sharing. Gonna give a try and post my feed back,

i tried this on Nokia 7210 phone but there is no path to the 'system' folder in the C:/ directory. It only shows one folder.i.e.predefgallery.


Any idea??

well the above tutorial is used on micro sd card and not phone.

This tutorial is useless if you have formatted your mobile. And if you have not formatted your mobile then your sd  card would open without any password as it is already stored in your mobile. So what's the use of this trick? I had a similar issue but had to break the password and lost the data in it.

For your kind info,i know it but i meant to say that i could not find the folder named 'system' through the file explorer so how to access the file with the password?
