Creating Blueprints for your Software
« on: August 05, 2013, 08:59:02 pm »
How would be an effective way to create like a blueprint or flowchart or something for your software , I'm making a piece of this software and I am trying to plan it out by mapping out the functions, like if you click this button it takes you to this menu or does this.., I'm kind of new to planning out user interfaces so Please help me out here. Because I'm not sure where to start.

Indeed UML is the only way. I usualy use a tool called "Software ideas modeler". It's a freeware tool and it is great.

OmniGraph and OmniGraffle works well but only if you're on a Mac.
I have dreamed a dream, but now that dream has gone from me.  In its place now exists my own reality, a reality which I have created for myself by myself.
