VPN connection problem
« on: October 03, 2013, 12:03:53 pm »
As most of the proxies do not work in my college .(Cyberoam is used in my college and everytime i access the internet , i have to login with my username and password ). So, I tried to use VPN . But now there is one more problem after every 10 minutes my connections are lost and i have to login again and again after every 10 minutes. So, tell me why do this happen? and what should i do so that i could connect to internet as long as i don't log out .

Well that sounds pretty strange. I don't know much about this so I'll try to help you out to the best of my abilities. First off it would be nice if you told me what VPN you use so we can narrow the problem down

EDIT: Hmmm, well I couldn't find any information on how to fix the issue with that VPN but I do have a few suggestions. First, if you haven't already tried, download CyberGhost because I belive it to be faster than the VPN you're currently using. If that isn't working try Ultrasurf. Hope this helped you somewhat :).

I used Ultrasurf in old days, when it was not blocked. And also the same problem happened at that time too when it was not blocked. and i guess when i use vpn my ipaddress is changed and main server of my college logs me out when it finds  different ip address . :-\

I must be repeating myself.
Setup some box somewhere, VPS ,SSHD or whatever.
Run it on port 80 or 443, outbound it almost always works.
Uhm next step; nothing, you is done.
I must have said this a million times by now.
