Adobe on Linux?

Hi there!

Anyone can tell me if it is possible to install Adobe After Effects and Premiere or all the Adobe Package in the linux. Making it runs natively, i mean, without running a VM or Wine. I know it was realeased only for Win or Mac, but damn those are horribles OS.
I work with video editing and motion graphic and sincerely there is no good professional alternative in linux to Adobe video softwares.
If i could run it on Linux a would be so happy, i would never use Windows again
There's a chance if i re-wrote some part of the code, i don't know, anything that a can do?

You could try 'wine'.
On the other hand just dont expect it to run smooth nor at 100% performance.

I shall say nothing about adobe , my blood pressure is just fine the way it is atm.

You know it was only released for Windows and Mac, and you're asking for a way to install it natively on Linux?
WTF did I just read?
What Linux alternatives have you already tried? Because there are quite a few, and some look good enough for professional use.

Actually expressed myself poorly, sorry about my english
Not natively i mean, but with a good and smooth performance, a way that i could do my job on linux
And i already tried Kdenlive and some old version of Cinelerra(i have to try the new version) as alternative to Premiere
But none of them have suport to export the MXF (broadcast format) with 4 audio channels, and i need this

If you somehow manage to get the source code, it can be done. If you're talking about reversing it, it ain't worth it. Even if you do manage to pull it off... Adobe will probably be releasing CS 20's of it's products by then.
Just use a VM on linux.

Blender is awesome, but it's for 3D modeling, animation and rendering

I couldn't fully drop windows for two reasons 1. Games 2. Adobe After Effects and Photoshop + Sony Vegas

Its currently impossible to run After Effects or Premiere on Linux properly. Impossible. Don't even try. I wasted enough time on it.

To replace After Effects you could use Blender. Blender has improved a lot recently, and has a very powerful node based compositor that you can use to do compositing instead of AE. If you are not into compositing and want to do more of Motion Graphics stuff, then yes, blender is not optimal; you can use it to do SOME motion graphics, but it just takes 5 times longer to get the same result. So if you want VFX/compositing, then blender can do everything and more then what AE can or will ever do, but if you want motion graphics you are stuck with win/mac.

As far as premiere is concerned, take a look at Lightworks. lwks.com
Linux release should be coming soon.

Yeah, i have a little experience in blender, and it is a great software, but i work with motion graphics and i would take much more time to do the things i do in After effects, but thanks anyway
