Great Web Security Tutorials for Noobies and Advanced Hackers
« on: November 11, 2013, 01:44:17 am »
Hey I found this site while I was browsing a while back and it's pretty awesome. It provides quite a few tutorials on quite a few website vulnerabilities, each with its own big pdf as well as an iso to run as a vm and attack. Very good tutorials in my opinion:

I was there yesterday, but forgot to share. +cookie
I'll check it out once I have some time. Looks promising, though.

This is great. A lot of iso files for my virtual lab. Thanks a ton.
Do you want to be safe and good, or do you want to take a chance and be great?

How y you guys think the boot camp section looks would it be good for a semi beginner cause I've mostly been learning C but it says learn a scripting language like Python etc.
The most vulnerable part of an impenetrable system is those who believe it to be so.

I do think it would, as long as you are willing to spend time learning the other language. It's an easy language really. I also suggest learning some basic Ruby, as the tutorials use it sometimes. If you'd like a challenge you can try to recode some of their Ruby programs in Python, that's always fun :)

I'm glad you guys are seeming to enjoy it.

I recommend you guys try out the Bootcamp section. It gives you weekly assignments pertaining to the exercises, that way you can do them in order at a good pace. Also, in the later weeks, it starts to overlap with this practice website:

Which I'm sure many of you are already familiar with.
