I don't know if you guys noticed, but Google had an update on youtube, where you now have to comment with a G+ account on youtube and now YT comments allow ascii art.
This combo of features didn't end well as I have predicted...

People are spamming popular videos with ascii art of a bob and his tank or whatever, fighting a war against YT comments.

Honestly, I don't give a shit. I have my google account linked to a few things. The char limit and top comments are fucked up, but an official statement from youtube has been released and is being worked on.
I have a few google accounts, one main for important stuff, and a few throwaway accounts. Why fight it? Nothing is going to stop it, posting this bob crap is just making it worse for everyone else.

If you go to the Profile option in the main nav at the top of the page you can give yourself a signature that will be on every post. No need to manually sign every one. Looks cleaner that way.  Thanks.
