PC Hardware School Final

So, for the final for my PC Hardware class at school we have to assemble three computers using Newegg. Once we've done so we email the setups to the teacher. We are supposed to build regular desktop for general business purposes, a gaming rig, and a rig for mechanical engineering(I don't necessarily see the difference between a gaming rig and a rig for mechanical engineering considering they both require extra processing power and memory but whatever).

I have never had the pleasure of actually building my own computer as I've never accumulated enough money at once to do such a thing, so I just wanted to make sure I'm not missing anything. So, I'm going to tell you all the parts I "bought" and you will tell me if I'm missing anything, cool? Cool.

So for the regular desktop I've got:

- Case
- Mobo
- CPU + Heatsink
- RAM
- Hard Drive
- Optical Drive
- Wireless NIC
- Power Supply

Gaming:

- Same as above
- GPU
- Extra Fans
- SSD as well as HDD
- Sound card

Mechanical Engineering

- Aahhh fuck that
- Same as Gaming pretty much

So, am I missing anything? Thanks.

Well, basically that is what goes into a computer, yes.
If that list is all that your teacher requires... I wouldn't bother with such classes, lol. No details about which parts should go in exactly... for all I know, maybe you want to put in Celeron and DDR1 with IDE drives for the gaming computer, integrated graphics with 32mb memory for architecture design
Those are some pretty hard core rigs there matey!

Nah don't worry about it I'm not insulted.

I am picking out specific parts. I just wasn't trying to make a thread out which specific parts are better then others and didn't want to waste anyone's time by posting 7 links of different parts. I'm only making sure I didn't miss anything crucial to a PC, because as I said, I've never had the pleasure of building my own before and I didn't want to miss anything crucial. Like it would probably be a good idea not to forget a heatsink for the CPU 

But yeah, most of the teachers at this school are kind of a joke sadly.
