Tuning the site

Hi there!

We are fine tuning the website as you may notice. When you click on the evilzone banner you get a new portal page. There are still things to do but feel free to give us feedback and suggestions

Well, everything looks pretty neat but here are my thoughts:
1. There could be a fratured Article/tutorial list that would attract visitors.
2. There's an unnecessary search bar at the bottom left. The search bar is already on top of the site's navigation so, that's a waste of space.
3. The most recent posts could be just beside the most recent topics. Having similar contents aligned (creating unity in them) makes the interface more user friendly. Same goes for the top posters and the EZ staff list.
4. The red links (upload, web irc, etc) are kind of a pain in the eye.
Just my thoughts tho...

Just a small question: What is going to happen to the wiki. Will it stay, go away or something else?

Caught me by surprise when I first clicked the banner and saw the new portal. It's gonna take me some getting used to when it's fully implemented. A suggestion I have is try to utilize more of the bottom space because their is just a bunch of it and I believe it could be used for something. Looks good nonetheless.

Indeed, there's thousands of hex colors out there. Why use just plain red? This for example:

Portals are nice, but is there much of a point with alpha around the corner? Or is something like it going to be implemented as a CMS driven website as a test for other features in alpha?

Well, we figured that we can't really leave this current board to die while we look at the new evilzone. So we might as well do some little things on the current board.

Another thing I forgot to add:
5. We have forced SSL enabled, so we don't really need a link in the site's navigation to enable SSL, because it's always enabled.

Yeah I did notice some difference. And I agree, the search bar in the portal should be removed.
Overall, it's nice
