I have literally searched everywhere for a solution to this, but I have only found solutions for Firefox. Does anyone know how I can do this?

Isn't location header just a redirect? could probably stop following redirects?
I am not sure why would you want it, but there should be some extensions for it. If not then fuck Chrome and use FF, chrome is shit anyway...
