Recently I got a need to make secure phone calls. I did a bit research and it appears that GSM 2G protocol is soooo shitty that you can listen to calls for pennies ( probably you know this video but here it is

I found a few solutions to this.
Some cryptophones that the firm that makes them they encrypt even the 2G communications which I consider shit and they cost about 1 500 EUR.
Also there's the blackphone ( found a thread here somewhere) but I didn't find if it was enough secure or not. Still a bit expensive but if that's the only real solution I think I can live with it.
The 3rd thing is some software for 3G VOIP encryption - RedPhone, SilentCircle(same company that makes the blackphone) and some software from my country.
So I'd like to ask you what are your thoughts on this. Did anyone have had expirience with this stuff ? Which one is the most reliable ? Can I use or it's just another marketing shit ?
