« on: July 30, 2011, 07:40:40 pm »
Ok so i have a cisco router and it keeps tellingme that EZ is a possible web threat blah blah blah. so does anyone on here know how to get it to stop being a dick about EZ and let me through tothe site without their constant warnings? Also does anyone know why EZ is even considered a threat?

If you knew the history of EZ, you would know why. To bad its very hard to get of those lists again. However, what kind of router do you have? And what kind of warnings? In-browser warnings or popups of some sort? Its probably some sort of useless security filter or something, I would have considerd just turning it of. I mean, if its not even up to date on EZ, which have been clean and nice for more than a year now.

I have a cisco router and I can't find a list of trusted sites option, which is really annoying. I'll keep looking though. But ande, I am really new to the site and your response piqued my interest, so what do you mean by the history of EZ?

Yeah but that doesn't tell me why it would be considered a "threat". Damn I wish I knew some history

There aint much to know, I like it better as it is now. Less risk of getting boned by idiocy.

On the "security" filter of yours; That filter is clearly made for end-users. The idiots who get owned by hackers and crackers alike every single day. You are really better of just turning it off.
