Punk rock
« on: September 12, 2014, 03:08:09 am »
Any other punk rock fans out there? I mainly listen to 80's and 90's punk; today's punk seen is pretty sad. As far as I know there is only one real punk rocker at my school and only a handful of kids who listen to punk. (I do live in an insanely sheltered, 90% white continuity, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised that only ten or twenty kids out of 2500 listen to punk- or know what punk music is for that matter.)

I like some of RA's music and I do like blink, but my favorite bands have to be the Offspring, Green Day, and Bad Religion. (Before 2000, but for green day I'll make an exception for American idiot)

I think you would like Such Gold, have you tried last.fm yet? They have a really good recommendation engine. I have gotten to listen to some many new bands from their suggestions. Many of it is local talent you wouldn't find unless involved in their local scenes.

Punk rock is my shit >.> some of my favorite bands
Though, I'm kinda behind on it lately.. I've been listening to Pop Punk lately, A Day to Remember is my favorite band by far.

I listen to nearly every kind of music and go through phases of listening to each kind
