I want to learn some new things

Hey,  I'm looking to try and start learning some new things, and/or get a hobby but I don't really have any ideas. I am wondering if you guys could give me some hacking related books on a variety of topics to read that will give me a good amount of beginner information so I can try and find something that Interests me. I know we have a ton of e-books but there are so many that I don't know where to start.
So tell me about your favorite books that are about what you like to do I guess...

Edit: now that I think about it they don't have to be hacking related, they can be about whatever as long as they are informational.

Three books that I am reading right now are practical lock picking, and the 71 and 09 versions of the anarchist cookbook

Just sit on your ass and watch Defcon and Blackhat talks, it'll show you around several topics in the scene, some great people which inspired me on a multitude of levels.
The inventor of NMAP has a bunch of nice talks, showing the hackers mindset.

I just read it and I'm pretty sure that I have read it before a few years ago when I first got into computers, but it's still pretty accurate.
