There's something that has always irked me about GitHub. Maybe it's the "social programming" thing. Or maybe it's the hipster web dev culture around it. Also, maybe I'm missing something but most of these either seem totally useless or have FOSS alternatives that don't rely on "the cloud".

Just signed up for this and they said I should hear back in about a week? Hopefully it's a yes since all of that stuff seems pretty useful.
