What browser addons do you have installed? Just curious to find some news addons to look into

For Chrome, I only have LiveReload for web dev shit and Pinboard read later.

For Firefox, none. Hardly ever use it.

Firefox is #1, don't let MR I LOVE FUCKING IE come here and tell you any different ;), or you could use something like Ice on Lunix, add on wise, just have add-blocker ;) and there is some proxy add on for watching Netflix that I cant remember what it is, hacking wise, a cookie injector maybe? Its all personal preference really, just don't get cluttered.

Blender: masks browser information to help prevent tracking (see https://panopticlick.eff.org/index.php)
Disconnect: blocks web trackers like Google Analytics
HTTPS Everywhere: forces https on sites that support it to make ISP spying and MITM attacks harder.
NoScript: blocks Javascript and stuff to prevent 0day attacks and stuff.
RequestPolicy: block cross domain content. Use it for privacy as with NoScript.
Self-destructing Cookies: destroys cookies of websites after their tabs have been closed. Helps prevent tracking.
AdBlock Edge: duh.
GreaseMonkey: allows user specified pieces of JS to run on specified websites. Use it to improve user experience.

I use Firefox.

Auto Refresh - refreshes the website every N seconds
Cookies Manager+
Customizable Shortcuts - gotta have dat ctrl+z to get a closed tab open again
DownloadHelper - nothing better than that for YT
Firebug
FoxyProxy Basic
Live HTTP Headers
Speed Dial - love it
SQLite manager - best one out there
Tab Mix Plus - tab enhancements
Tamper Data
Upload Progress - shows progress of an upload for website that have no such thing
User agent switcher - awesome
