"Heatseeker" mini-review
« on: November 21, 2014, 08:00:24 pm »

Players take on the role of an International Council pilot Mike "Downtown" Hudson, often accompanied by wingman Hank "Divot" Harrison. The game begins with a terrorist attack. The plot follows the International Council's attempt to thwart a dangerous dictator with an advanced nuclear cache named Bae Jung-Tae.

My input:

Another areal combat game, but for PSP. I wrote earlier about "Ace Combat", PS1 game. Heatseeker is just as good, with graphics, sounds and missions. It's not perfect as I had expected, but fun to play anyway.
Controls are pretty easy, missions are sorta interesting, they differ in type, so you won't always get to blow other planes up - missions include defending some objects, blowing up ships... it's not overly complicated as some games I had played too.

A PS2 game, for PSP?

I guess the only flight simulator I played was one of the later Ace Combats for PS2. I enjoyed it and played it for a fair amount of time, but it was a vast, empty, quiet world to me.

It was released for several platforms.
I haven't played more of Ace Combat after PS1, so I couldn't comment about those :P
