Wasn't sure where to post this o.O

Some key points
1. I DID NOT CRACK THIS PROGRAM IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM, JUST CREATED AN EASY INSTALLER
2. I used the "Internet.Download.Manager.v6.21.18.with.Crack-MUFTAKiS" release to make this, no files were modified or hurt during this process
3. I googled the fix for the IDM notification regfix. So deal with it.

Ok so I recently installed IDM and was like WHAT A BITCH... soooo much crap involved. so I decided to make my life a little easier. However if you don't want to use my easy installer and want to install stuff manually I will have instructions at the end of this readme.

1. Run IDM.v6.21build18-DeepCopy.exe
This is a self extracting archive that will extract everything to %temp% and run a batch file installer that will go through the process required for installing. It will have a yes/no question as to whether or not your system has IDM installed or not, after that it will walk you through everything and have you run through the installer etc. THIS IS NOT AN UNATTENDED INSTALL...

That's it. Just run it and follow the instructions in the window and you're done.

Ok so now if you would rather go through the process yourself and do not want to run my batch file, here you go

0. Uninstall any previous versions of IDM you have installed

1. Right click on IDM.v6.21build18-DeepCopy.exe and select "Extract here" this is a WinRAR self extracting archive, you may need WinRAR 5+ to extract it. I have numbered each option, however if you skip 00IDMInstaller.bat as that will take you through the same process as my easy installer.

2. Merge 01 RESETTER.REG with your registry. This contains a key to start the patching process

3. Install 02 idman621build18.exe

4. Merge either 03a RUN-x64.REG or 03b RUN-x86.REG depending on your system

5. Close IDM

6. Either manually copy IDMan.exe from the crack folder to the IDM directory (program files/Internet Download Manager) on 64bit systems it's in the program files x86 directory or you can run 04 CrackCopy.bat to have it copy to the appropriate directory

7. Merge 05 LastCheckUpdateFix-DeepCopy.REG
This registry file will get rid of that annoying update notfication

Ok that's it (you can see why I made the batch file... I have to install this on like 6 systems)

Weird thing I can extract the content, either with unrar nor unrar-nonfree. I tested out.
You did something specific to make it unable to extract, or just created the rar file with winrar?

I said winrar v5+

The Linux repo you used probably isn't winrar 5+ use the link above and download it for your system. Its available on Windows, Linux, and Mac

Ohh, I am not about using it on Linux.Maybe I will make a test on Windows later when I will finish what I am doing just to let you know if it works okay.

I just wondered because usually I am able to extract contents of rar files, even created with winrar on windows. And it seemed kinda weird to me. Thats why I asked for more information.

Ohh, I am not about using it on Linux.Maybe I will make a test on Windows later when I will finish what I am doing just to let you know if it works okay.

WinRAR 5 changed their compression scheme so files archived with WinRAR 5 require WinRAR 5+ to extract.
