kali linux wpa2 question
« on: February 20, 2015, 10:39:04 am »
Hi everyone!
First, if i mistaken for posting this question here, just move it somewhere else please.

I read several tutorials on cracking neighbors wifi with kali linux. Tried every single tutorial in practice, but could not manage to brake pass so far.
I know that the WPS status should say NO and i only try to brake those, but when i start reaper, sometimes it says:
" Associated with XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX (ESSID: "yourname")
0.00% complete... (0 seconds/pin)"
or it says:
warning: failed to associate with XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX (ESSID: " some name")
I know i tried several options/methods, but i still can't access.
Any help, or advice please?
Hope everyone understands what i write, cause English is foreign to me :)
Thanks in advance for commenting or advising!

WPS cracking is quite old and router manufacturers are starting to put restrictions on how many WPS PIN attempts you can perform per time period.
You may want to consider capturing handshakes and doing a dictionary attack on it.
Only attempt to hack your own router, I am not suggesting or encouraging you to hack all the neighbors in your street in any way.
Also, go make an introduction.

Thanks for quick reply.
I did make an introduction. It's here: https://evilzone.org/members-introduction/hello-form-serbia-europe/
It is very difficult to deal with dictionaries in Serbia, cause not many people are using English words or phrases as their passwords. I still can't find Serbian dictionary to use.
I don't have my own router, otherwise i will try to crack it. I use my laptop and a USB mobile internet service. It's too expensive for me to use cable net instead, unfortunatly. So I am limited with this USB mobile net to 5Gb per month from 6am to midnight, and another 5Gb during night. After i use all my Gb's speed drops to the same as dial-up users.
Any sugestions for some other software or methods?
