How to remain anonymous online while using Windows
« on: March 11, 2015, 12:57:37 pm »
I use Microsoft OS. For any private searches, websites, I use VPN.
I am curious to know how a computer could be uniquely  identified by some one (ISP, FBI, NSA etc) other than the computers MAC address. I tried changing SID but it was crashing my system. I know tools like OSFuscate cant fool tools like Satori which is used for OS fingerprinting.
1. Would it be possible to access the unique processor id or Hard disk id online?
2. What is the best way to hide OS and System information online. Any other tools other than OSFuscate?
3. How to Spoof system info online (Not spoofing MAC Address)?
4. Is there any way to change the uniqueness of my system each time before I go online each time?
Thanks...

Stupid question.
Don't use windows. Ever. Only for gaming. Piece of shit OS.
If you are serious about privacy read the posts in this section and learn about proxies, VPN's, javascript, browser fingerprinting, cookies, usage patterns, WebRTC ect ect ect.
from the sound of your question, you will have a metric shit-ton of reading to do if you want to even remotely approach having the slightest chance of having some anonymity online.

Law enforcement will track you by IP address. What comes next, assuming they have a warrant, is people knocking on your door to collect the evidence - your computer and all related electronics (hard drives, USB flash, etc.)

Law enforcement (in US) is known to plant malware to identify bad actors behind TOR/proxies. As far as I know it is primarily meant to get the originating IP address. Can malware get processor and HD id? On physical system, yes. This is why you should be using a VM.

- Virtual machines (preferably use a live CD, such as Tails, without persistence)
- Don't use Windows as the guest OS
- Don’t use same proxies/vpn all the time
- Proxy chain
- Assume all proxies/VPN services have logs
- If someone is tracking you down, do not connect from home
- Use common sense
