Make a portable sniffer out of my old pc.

Hi, after i saw a Hak5 episode where they made a wifi-sniffer case mod, i am thinking about making one of my own portable wifi sniffer, out of my old desktop pc that is devoted to just that.

Any ideas that can make it?

That would be so weird walking around with spikes sticking out of your backpack and hello kitty? wut?
Also that lead battery is heavy as a mofo. Why not simply use a laptop...?

But I don't think this is very practical it was just a challenge so they say.


As Kulverstukas said use a laptop or go even smaller a tablet , cell phone ,PI , 0droid its 2015 no one wants to carry a
damn desktop in a backpack. and if you really want 14 wifi cards get two  8 port hubs but then who the hell wants to buy 14 cards.


If you  really want to do something like this you should be thinking how to make this easier not harder

YOu can do this yeah, its possible, if nto very efficient (or light)

But you can do it better with stuff thats like the size of a credit card or two nowadays..

Hell I just got the parts for a functioning zippo lighter to double as a wifi sniffer..
