Hello. Well as the description of the board informes me i dont know where to put this request/help topic so i created it here. Any mod free to move it where it belong.


I want to create my own PortableApp Suite so my first step is to create portable apps.
I started using Cameyo but my problem was that Cameyo build the app with a pretty big size.
For example firefox from Cameyo is 79MB as portable. I used PortableApp Compactor from 79MB converted to 70MB. Well cause as you can see i'm newbie and a starter at this things if anyone can guide me to what tools should i use for this or even if there is any easy app suite secure etc. out there

your "problem"? A 12% size increase is quite decent for such a process, imho. And besides, what are 9MB regarding current storage capacities? I somehow misunderstood stuff

However, afaik, there is - technically - no (easy) way to convert such apps without enlarging files. This is due to the different environment (e.g. operating system) you port the binaries to. They need specific information (naturally provided by the original system, but missing on the portable one) to be added to the app's internal data; otherwise you wouldn't be able to run them on the mobile device.
