Wi-Fi long range receiver
« on: August 10, 2015, 08:51:23 pm »
Isn't hard to find some wi-fi long range receiver with wlan card and usb linking. i would like to buy one of them but i'm frightened from linux incompatibility and insufficient quality.

Do someone tryed one of them? They really receive wi-fi signal at some miles of distance? is there something don't need of drivers on the most famous linux distro like kali / backtrack ecc...??? Do you have any brand to suggest me?

An example of what i'm talking about is

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Outdoor-WiFi-COMPLETE-KIT-ALFA-1W-21dBi-20ft-Cable-LONG-RANGE-RECEIVER-/201067553914

thank you so much!

Might depend on the linux distro you try to use .. I've never had to install a driver for any of them.
