Once in the time F-secure was almost only antivirus software I knew, like fifteen years back. Mostly because it's Finnish company, it was selled almost with every machine you bought in here. I haven't really never liked their software though. Atleast back in the day it were very heavy and increased Windows booting time alot. Propably it has been improved, but I haven't seen it much in use after I became Linux user. Propably about 90% of Finnish companies use their products(just a guess), so I guess it's not so bad.
Kind of off-topic but F-secure's Chief Research Officer Mikko Hyppönen has some intresting talks in youtube if someone wants to check. If I remember right, he was one of the speakers in last years Blackhat(-europe maybe).
Edit: Checked that freedom app and in general it seemed intresting. But mostly it seems to be just VPN with some claimed extra security. Price ain't too bad tho.
